Let's start off with the guide shape for the head and then sketch in the facial guidelines.

2

Using the head guide we will draw in the detailed structure of the skull followed by the bulging eyes. This is just bones that protrude out.

3

Form the eye hollows like so, then draw a triangular shaped nose for the nasal cavity. When that is done you can add the definition between the eyes.

4

We will now create the jaw structure as well as the skeletal gum line and then sketch in the dimpling above the gum line.

5

Lastly, draw in the skeletal teeth and then you are all done. Erase your mistakes and you are done.

6

Here is your line art folks. I do hope you had fun with drawing this Medieval skull.

Description: Here is a different skull concept that I know many folks will enjoy drawing. I'm sure many of you know by now that I love drawing skulls and I will often think of new ideas to create different skull concepts. Well, sometimes ideas are given to me by members or fans of Dragoart and most of the time the ideas are awesome. This lesson that we will tackle today is going to be on how to draw a Medieval skull, step by step. I don't do a lot of Medieval drawing tuts, but when I do I like to make sure that they are way cool. I have a couple ideas for more tuts related to medieval times so try and stick around to see what it could be. Adios folks and have fun drawing this medieval skull.
