Description: Well, I finally did it, I made two tutorials that are going to teach you the ins and outs of drawing both female, and male eyes. I did these two lessons as a pair which means one will go up after the other. To start, let’s learn "<em>how to draw female eyes</em>", step by step. Drawing the female eye has always been exciting and adventurous to me. The reason being is because there is so many different ways you can draw female eyes. For example, since there is a bunch of different nationalities, there is going to be a bunch of different types, and styles of eyes. Asians like the Japanese and Chinese people have different eye contours, just as every other person in existence. Both male and females can have a wide variety of eye shapes ranging from round, wide, and small, squinted, and even somewhere in between. But there is always going to be that slight distinction that lets one know if you are looking at a male or a female eye. Anyways, I say we quit the chit chat, and move onto something much more fun like learning "<strong>how to draw female eyes</strong>". I think you will enjoy this lesson because I know that eyes are one of the hardest things to draw when it comes to drawing the human face. I will be back with my male eye tutorial in a bit so have fun with this lesson, and be sure to keep an “eye” out for the other. Peace out people!
Description: Female eyes can be seemingly difficult to draw. 1. When drawing lashes, they should be drawn looping forward from the lower lid. They SHOULD NOT be drawn from the inside of the eye. 2. Females have lengthened and larger eyes than males. Variety in the lengths of the lashes will create a semi-realistic look.
Description: 1. To create an eye that seems to have a lot of makeup on, draw thick lower and upper lids as well as a 'wing' at the edges of the eyes. 2. Eyelids vary per style. By having fuller - thicker lids, you'll have a seductive appearance. 3. You should be able to see a slight definition of the 'larcrimal caruncula' (the pink edge part of the eye). 4. To make things a bit simpler add a few lower lashes that are seemingly thick in line weight.
Description: 1. A very simplistic eye requires less details. A large wing is essential to portraying a feminine eye. 2. A white reflection overlapping most of the iris will give a glossy look of a realistic eye.
Description: Lets begin drawing some really pretty eyes shall we? Start by sketching out the initial shapes of the female eye lines and lids. As you can see the ends of the eyes are catty to make this female somewhat sexy.
Description: You will now draw in the eyeball shapes, and draw the other lash on the left eye to match the right eye. When that is done, draw in the inner parts of the eye where the tear ducts are. Add a light line for the actual lid, and some very light lines for a hint of a nose.
Description: For the last drawing step, all you need to do is draw out and color in the nicely shaped eyebrows, and then color in the pupils. There is no guidelines to erase because you drew this set of eyes perfectly.
