How to Draw Chibi Light, Light Yagami

Draw a large circle for chibi Light's head, and then draw out the whole body shape and be sure to draw in the legs.

Okay, you will now draw out the shapes of his eyes and as you can see the lining is incredibly bold, and sharp. The eyes should be dark, and when you are done draw in a hint of a mouth.

Sketch out the shape of chibi Light's face like so, and then draw in the pointed tips for his hair bangs. Draw in the brow lines that peak through his bangs, and be sure to draw in that hole or notch on his cheek which is going to be for the apple.

Thicken the lining for his head to complete his hairstyle. Draw in the ears, and then draw out the eyeballs. Add the stem on the apple and then move down to step five.

Okay guys, now what you have to do is draw out the upper body starting with the jacket, sleeves, and then the collar and end of his coat. Draw in the hand that is holding the apple as well as finish drawing out the apple.

Draw out the legs in better detail, and then draw out his right hand. You will then draw out the shape of the notebook and add those small feet.

For the last drawing step all you have to do is draw out chibi Light's tie, and then draw in his belt as well as the seam lines on his pants. Add a page to the book and begin erasing the lines and shapes you drew in step one.

Here is what this chibi Death Note character looks like when you are all done. Color him in and be on your way to the next tutorial.

Description: Well it looks like I just wasted my time drawing out a sketch I will never upload because for some odd reason my computer decided to crash on me like thirty minutes ago. Before I go any further with this story, let me shut up because I will just become more upset that my hard work went down the drain. Anyways lets learn "how to draw chibi Light", step by step or Light Yagami as we know him. I actually wanted to upload this drawing a while ago right when I made the tutorial on chibi Misa. He came out looking really cute and even though he is in his chibi form, Light still has that cocky expression on his face. To keep things original I made sure to draw Chibi Light holding the apple and the Death Note notebook. In general the lesson should be pretty easy to follow and complete. I know Death Note is not as popular as it used to be, but he is still a very popular figure from the anime series and manga.
