Description: As I promised, I will be giving you another skull lesson and this time it will be on "<strong>how to draw a butterfly skull</strong>". I was just running a rampage yesterday just thinking about different types of skull designs to draw. After asking my mum and dad for some ideas on what types of skulls to create, they suggested that I use my imagination and try to think of stuff that nobody has done before, or if they have done it, do it different. So here it is, my very own design of a butterfly skull. The concept came after looking at some pictures of different types of butterfly based skull designs. After careful viewing and studying, I decided that a skull creation would be perfect if the wings of the butterfly looked more like a rib cage. I think it's a unique creation, and I also think you guys will have fun drawing this butterfly skull too. I'm going to fly out of here but I will be back soon with more skull fun. Adios people, and be sure to enjoy your drawing day!
Description: Here is where you will start sketching out the actual shape of the skull head. Approach this step like you would any other step that is based on a skull. Once the cheek bones are drawn, and the top portion of the mouth is set, you can draw the sockets for the eyes like so.
Description: Before you start drawing in the skeleton like wings, all you need to do is draw in the nose hole, and then the first top row of skeletal teeth. Once that is done can draw out the rib like wings like you see here, and be sure to make the notches attach to the skull head. There should be holes that each wing rib comes out of.
Description: For the last drawing step all you have to do is draw out the unique looking skeletal like antenna, and then draw out the rest of the bony like rib wings. Erase the lines and shapes you drew in step one to clean up the drawing.
