How to Draw a Pumpkin for Halloween

This is going to be a simple drawing. Start with a circle for the pumpkin guide shape and then sketch in the facial guidelines and the guidelines for the limbs.

Draw out the actual head structure for the pumpkin head or just the pumpkin in general. Add some blemish marks on the surface as well.

We will now draw in the pumpkin face. I went ahead and drew in a happy face, but you can draw a jack-o-lantern style if you like.

Here is the fun part. Draw the stem on top of the head along with some vines. When that is done draw the vine limbs and the leaves too.

Draw in the vine like legs for this walking pumpkin and don't forget to curl the vine and add the smaller leaves too.

Lastly, thicken the leg vines by adding another layer, then you are ready to erase the mistakes and all the guidelines and shapes.

That's it, you are all done. Now color in this halloween pumpkin and even give it a background for added drama and effect.

Even though Halloween is celebrated regardless if there is school or not, we all like to think that Halloween should be celebrated like Christmas or Easter. Well, that's all I have to say.
