1

The first thing to do is draw an egg shape as well as a guideline in the middle.

2

Here you will first define the shape of the fish's body like so, then draw in two eyeballs which are round in shape. the side profile of the fish should also have the dent that forms the mouth.

3

Now we will get busy drawing the fins. As you can see the fish fins are lavish looking and very whimsical. The only stiff fin is the tail fin. Notice that the dorsal fin has a spiked edge.

4

Add detailing to the fins like so which are just simple vertical stripes.

5

Lastly, you will draw the last fin, then color in the pupil. Add last minute detailing to the back end of the fish, then erase the mistakes and guides.

6

Look how cute your mandarin fish is when you are all done. Now just simply color in the fish.

Description: I think that is all the fun we will have today with the lessons for kids, or at least for now. I wanted to get some other stuff uploaded like this mandarin fish. Up next, we will tackle the task of learning "how to draw a mandarin fish", step by step. These beautiful looking fish species come in green, blue and orange. The one in the lesson is colored using all three shades, but then again that is how they are normally. If you are interested in owning a mandarin, you should at least have a thirty gallon fish tank to give them adequate amount of space. They also need to have live rocks, sand, and a good amount of fun spots that they can hide in like caves and other aquatic toys. Anyways, drawing a mandarin shouldn't be too difficult, but if you are a novice artist it might be a little complicated but not much. Well, that's it. Have fun people and like always, leave some feedback.
