Description: Before I get to my last for kids lesson for the day I wanted to break things up and make a tutorial on "<em>how to draw a deer head</em>", step by step. The buck you see before you now looks almost like one of the three deer I seen yesterday when I was doing my daily walk. Deer season is coming near which means there will be a lot of bright orange hats and vests around town once again. People around where I live wait for deer hunting season like kids wait for summer. I tried to incorporate the look of Bambi's father into the creation of this deer or buck. I do hope that when you draw animal heads you take your time with the sketch because they are truly fun making when you have a steady calm pace. Anyways, enjoy drawing this deer head folks and keep those requests rolling in I promise I will get to them eventually. happy hunting folks, (if you are into that type of sport).
Description: Sketch out the full shape of the bottom mandible along with the jaw line. You will then sketch out the shape of the buck's neck like so, then draw in the large ears. Add some detailing around the back part of the jaw and on the chin.
Description: Next, sketch out the shapes of the eyes, then draw in the shaggy markings around the eyes. Add detailing to the deer's nose like drawing the nostril holes. You will then add some fuzz on the neck, then proceed to step five.
Description: For the last step all you have to do is draw the deer's antlers and be sure to take your time with this step because as you know the antlers of the deer or buck determines the trophy. Some people take pride on getting a good size buck with a huge set of antlers. Add detailing to the antlers as well as inside the ears, then erase the guides and guidelines.
