Begin by sketching out the top half of the lip shape like so. Be sure there is a small gap at the corner.

2

You will begin by sketching out the structure of the skull shape which is small.

3

Next, add the eyes and nose sockets.

4

Here you can see the bottom lip will be added or drawn. Next, draw in the crossbones, then finish the shape of the bottom lip.

5

Lastly, finish the lips and you are all set. Erase any mistakes you made.

6

Here is the finished drawing when you are all done. Show off your work too.

Description: Yup, you are reading the heading correctly as it says "how to draw pirate lips". I felt like drawing lips yesterday so what I did was try to think of some way that made the lips a little different while keeping them sexy. For the lips I looked through a bunch of actress's mouths until I came across the ones I thought would make a really cool design. The actress I chose was Michelle Pfeiffer, and even though the lips I made aren't exactly like hers, they are the same style and structure. The pirate skull and crossbones decal on the right part of the mouth/lips adds a nice flare to the whole concept. I really love the way this drawing came out, so I hope you guys enjoy this tut on drawing pirate lips.
