For the first step you will draw a fussy round ball for the head of the moth followed by the antenna.

2

For the next step you will draw in the moth's wings, and as you can see there is two sets on each side.

Lastly, draw in the cone shaped body under the wings, then draw the design patterns on the wings as well. You can choose to go with your own pattern if you like. Erase the mistakes you made if any.

Description: Well, you know it's summer time when you see odd, large, and strange moths flying around your head when you're trying to hang outside at night. Yesterday I was chillin with the fam and this humongous moth landed right on my head. It was all green and must have been the size of a small bat. I found out later that it was in fact a lunar moth. Even though the moth startled me, it was incredibly pretty. Other moths that I have seen have soft pastel colors like pink, blue and a combo of both. This tutorial will show all you insect lovers out there, "how to draw a moth for kids", step by step. I had a lot of fun with this tut because I actually like how the moth came out. The steps are real easy which means you will finish this task in a matter of minutes. So enjoy this lesson, and be sure to leave a comment, rating, or even submit your finished work. I shall return later!
