Start with the guides for the head and shoulders of your girl who is posing with the Maori markings. Sketch in the facial guidelines as well.

2

Next, begin drawing the structure for the girl's face like so, and also incorporate the hairline.

3

We will now use the facial guidelines to draw in the pretty eyes (as you can see they are big and catty), as well as the nose and seductive mouth. Lightly sketch in the cheek indent and then proceed to step four.

4

Here you will draw in her long straight hair completely, and then draw in the strand lines to add texture and detailing to the hairstyle.

5

Sketch out the shape of her neck, then draw the shoulders.

6

You will first erase all the guidelines you made in step one followed by any mistakes. Once that is done you can start drawing the Maori tattoo design on her body starting on the cheeks and moving all the way down to her torso. Take your time as this

7

When all is complete, the artwork should end up looking like the drawing you see here.

Description: Hey friends, today I have some really cool lessons that will show us all how to tackle an interesting concept that is going to be both exciting and fun. We will start the day by learning how to draw a Maori Girl tattoo, step by step. This concept came to me when I was looking up Maori people and all the beautiful tattoo markings that they create. The interest in Maori came to me after watching the movie 'The Piano' with Anna Paquin, Holly Hunter and Harvey Keitel. Anyways, the concept is going to show you how to create a face of the girl who is tattooed with Maori artwork. I really love how this came out and I hope you do too.
