Description: I love the old animated cartoons from Warner Bros. there characters were so funny, colorful, original and unique. If you at home don’t know what characters are from Warner Bros I will list them for you now. First you have the infamous Bugs Bunny, followed by the two hunters that are always going after him Elmer Fudd, and Yosemite Sam. Besides Bugs Bunny there are other characters from WB that are widely known through out the world. There is Porky Pig, Daffy Duck, Marvin the Martian, Sylvester the Cat, Henry Hawk, Foghorn Leghorn, Pepe Le Pew, Tweety’s owner Granny, Road runner, Wile E. Coyote, Sam Sheepdog, Tasmanian Devil, and other characters that would leave me here all day if I where to write them all out. Let’s get back to talking about Tweety, as we all know he is the little canary like bird that is constantly in harms way when ever Sylvester is around, and he is around almost all the time. The two of them as a pair is some what like Tom and Jerry, both smaller animals are being chased around the house to be eaten by cats, one is grey and one is black. Tweety is owned by Granny the old lady who is actually the owner of Sylvester as well. Sylvester gets kicked out from the house when he is caught trying to harm her precious Tweety bird. Tweety talks with a childish tone and often pronounces words like a child would. His most famous line is “ I taught I taw a puddy tat, I did, I did tee a puddy tat!" His baby bird appearance makes him that much more lovable. There has been an age old question “is Tweety a male or female?” The answer is male. That may seem kind of odd because he acts so girly and he also has long eyelashes as well. But the fact is Tweety is most definitely a boy. In this tutorial I will show you "how to draw Tweety" Bird, step by step with simple to follow instructions. I hope you have fun with this little yellow bird, know I did.
Description: The first thing you are going to do is draw out a big round shape for Tweety's head. You will draw a line from the top of his head all the way down to the end of the torso. After that you can make another line to use as a guide for his eyes and mouth. After this is done you will then need to finish off this step with the rest of the guidelines and shapes for Tweety's body and hands.
Description: Now as you can see by the time you are done with this step you will already see Tweety in full form almost. You will now draw his two long oval shaped eyes and then his small beak. Next draw out the shape of his lower face which is his cheeks and neck. The arms and extra large feet are the next thing to be drawn out. Because Tweety's body has large portions he is very easy to draw.
Description: Now here you will draw out three long eyelashes and then the lower portion of his beak or mouth with the tongue as well. On the bottom of each eye make a small straight line to enhance the effect of his tiny cheek. Now you are ready to start drawing out his small hands and fingers.
Description: All you will be doing in this last drawing step is giving Tweety two pieces of hair and you will also need to draw in his eye balls and pupils. Color or shade in his pupils leaving behind a hint of white to create that gloss or wet look. You will color or shade in the inside of his mouth as well. Then give him his toe and finish of his feet. Erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.
Description: In this last step you'll have to accomplish the feet and legs of Tweety. Drawing this part of the cartoon character's body should be very easy. Once you've sketched out the pieces that attach Tweety to his body, you'll be all set to ink out your drawing!
Description: After you are with your cleaning of your sketch you should end up with a finished Tweety that looks like or resembles the one you see above. All that is left for you to do is color him in and add a pretty background to make him a star. hat will end this tutorial on how to draw Tweety bird step by step.
