Description: I know a lot of you have seen this image on my Facebook page and for some it is something that you would like to tackle as a lesson. So since I already planned on making a tut on "<strong>how to draw realistic Toothless</strong>", here is what a lot of you have been waiting for. The overall complexity of recreating your own Toothless in realistic form shouldn't be too bad. I mean, if you are novice artist that hasn't done much drawings on dragons, you might find this lesson difficult. But even if you do, I don't want you to shy away from the task because the only way to learn how to draw dragons is to challenge yourself when making one. Anyways, if Toothless where a real dragon this is what I envision him looking like. I hope you all have an awesome time with this tut, I shall return in a few. Adios folks and enjoy.
Description: Next, begin sketching out the shape or formation of Toothless' head and mouth or jaw like so. He will be showing his small cone shaped teeth as he smiles so be sure the mouth is open wide enough.
Description: We will now draw in the shape of his eye like so. Add the slit pupil along with the indent on top of his nose. Once that is done add the detailing through out which is the nostrils, skull indent, and markings around his eye.
Description: Here you will sketch in the other skin based horn on the opposite side of Toothless' head, then draw in the small spikes that flow down the head, neck and back. Before leaving this step you will also need to sketch in the chest and some of Toothless' arm/shoulder.
Description: For your last step all you have to do is draw in Toothless' foot and his long clawed nails. Add definition to the foot and leg until it has that realistic appeal. Erase the mistakes and guides as well.
