Tarzan, How to Draw

Begin by drawing the shapes and guidelines.

Using the guidelines go ahead and draw out the shape of Tarzan's kid face as well as some of the hairline that will frame his face./

Here we will continue to work on his hair by drawing some chunks. He has dreadlocks which is why his hair is drawn in a chunky piece style.

You will finish the hair in this step which will ultimately form the shape of his head. Draw in the eyebrows too.

Next, using the facial guidelines you will draw out the eyes, nose, and mouth. Take your time so you can get it right. Once that is done work on getting his right arm and shoulder drawn as well as the back line and loin cloth he wears.

Work on getting his chest drawn out and then the other arm and leg.

For the last drawing step, all you have to do is finish his body and add some detailing. Erase the mistakes and guides when you are done.

When you are finished, here is what your drawing comes out looking like. All that is needed now is some color so have fun bringing kid Tarzan to life.
