Description: Tokyo Mew Mew is an anime and manga series that has been in my mind for almost tow months now. No I don't watch or read the series, but I have been getting tons of e-mails asking me if I could make more lessons based on Tokyo Mew Mew characters so here they are. I have two tutorials that will be going up today and that includes this one on "how to draw Mint Aizawa", step by step. For you folks out there that has followed Tokyo Mew Mew from the beginning, you should know that Mint was one of the first Mew Mew's to be launched or recognized in the series. Mint has the genes of a blue Lorikeet mixed with her DNA. A blue Lorikeet is a small bird that has a navy blue color to its feathers. The birds come from French Polynesia as well as the Cook Islands. When Mint turns into her bird form, she grows a pair of wings as well as a birds tail. Her personality is described as being cocky, snooty, and incredibly spoiled. Even though Mint has all this negativity to her, she is also one that cares with her whole heart when it comes to her friends as well as for people that she is incredibly close to. Of course her personality has been developed over the years which means she wasn't always so caring. Anyways, Mint is going to not only be fun and colorful to recreate, she will also be easy and challenging at the same time. Have fun drawing Mint Aizawa and I will return with more fun here on Dragoart.com.
Description: Next up guys, you will start the drawing process of her hair. The top part as well as her bangs should be puffy like a pastry. Draw in the sides of her hairstyle, then make sure that the bangs are pointed.
Description: Okay guys you are that much closer to finishing this lesson on how to draw Mint. All you have to do now is make the buns on the sides of her head like so, then add some strand lines as well .
Description: Lastly, draw in the long neck, then sketch out her torso or half torso. Draw the high neck collar, then draw the seam line down the shirt she is wearing. Sketch in some wrinkles, then draw the exposed shoulders. Erase your mistakes then you are ready to color her in.
