Description: “You can't separate peace from freedom because no one can be at peace unless he has his freedom”. Hey folks, welcome back to another lesson on an individual that has changed our History or has made an impact on the way we believe and live our lives. I will begin by showing you "<strong>how to draw Malcolm X</strong>", step by step. His full name was Malcolm Little and he was born on May 19, 1925. He was born to Louise Little, and Earl Little. His father was a Baptist lay speaker. Malcolm’s father also taught his kids about black pride and how the white man is not to be trusted. In later years Malcolm X made a statement and said that three of his uncles or father's brothers where all killed by white people. One of the three uncles was killed by a lynch mob, making it even more evident that there is no, and most likely will never be equality between the two races. At one point it got so bad, the Little family had to relocate twice just to get away from the violent threats and trouble that was conflicting their lives. Eventually Malcolm’s father was killed by white supremacists and that is what started the rage in Malcolm X. Everything that he did with his life made an enormous impact on the lives on African Americans, as well as white Americans. When you are an activist for human rights, you tend to have more than one race that follows you and your beliefs. Not all white people back in those days where bad, but trying to convince those that had little faith in the concept was pretty hard. Not only did he have to deal with the death of his uncles and father, he also had to deal with a mother that was placed in a mental hospital for a good number of years. After all the lives that he changed and all the points that he made, someone still found it necessary to assassinate Malcolm X. He was shot and killed on February 21, 1965. This lesson will be easy enough for anyone to tackle, but the more experience you have as an artist, the easier it will be to replicate. So go ahead and have fun drawing Malcolm X. I will return with other tuts for you all. Peace out people!
Description: The next thing we will do is draw out Malcolm's glasses. The top part of the frame should be very bold and sort of thick. Sketch out the nose as well as the nostrils, and add some shading to the nostril holes.
