Description: I mentioned that I was going to submit a lesson on a Marvel Comics character that I drew live a couple days ago. For those of you that watched me live that day, you already know what to expect. For those of you that missed the show, I will do a quick recap for you but unfortunately it is not going to be a live drawing lesson. Instead I will teach you "how to draw Jean Grey step by step". Now Jean Grey is probably one of the oldest and well known super heroes from the Marvel family. She is one of my personal favorites because she is one of the strongest mutants in existence. If you go to her home page on Marvel’s website you can actually look at her power meter. You can get there easily just by clicking here and it will take you right to her profile page. Now although I like Jean Grey, I really don’t know the Marvel story on her. I basically go by the information that is provided with the story line in X-Men. The reason why I rely on this information is because Stan Lee always has a say in all the comic book movies that are created and made. I remember watching some really cool cartoons back when I was twelve that included the X-Men team that consisted of; Wolverine Cyclops, Storm, Beast, Rouge, Gambit, Professor X, and other characters that were really cool. As many of you know Scott and Jean was a popular comic book couple and when Logan came around he put a patch of ice on their love. Jean became extremely attracted to Logan, and Logan feel absolutely in love with her. Her powers are wicked and when I watched the third part of the X-Men saga I was immediately hooked when she started her unlimited telepathic and telekinetic powers. When she was first introduced to Professor Xavier she was only ten years old. Professor X already knew that she was one of a kind and she needed to learn how to control her amazing gift. Over time he taught her how to handle her powers and how to take control over her abilities instead of her abilities taking over her. Jean is able to read minds with her telepathic abilities, as well as hide her thoughts into the minds of others. Because she also has a strong telekinesis ability, she is able to levitate, as well as move other objects around her that she chooses to play with no matter what size they are. Pictures and art of Jean Grey has a flaming phoenix in the background her being. This is because at some point the Phoenix Force fused with Jean and advanced her powers to the infinite level. With the Phoenix Force, Jean is able to play with matter and energy and do as she pleases with them. For instance in the movie she totally disintegrates Scott and Professor Xavier as well as almost destroying everything in her path before Logan or "Wolverine" killed her. All in all this character was made to be awesome and perfect and I think they succeeded. This tutorial will show you h"ow to draw Jean Grey" step by step. I have to go because there is more work to be done. I will be back later with more drawing fun. Peace out and happy drawing.
