Description: "They’re lovely hills," she said. "They don’t really look like white elephants. I just meant the coloring of their skin through the trees". Hills Like White Elephants is my favorite short story from Hemingway. When the story was read to me for the first time I swear I was speechless when it was over. It was so beautiful yet so sad. The heartfelt emotions from the couple was falling off the page. I had a lot of fun making this tutorial on "<em>how to draw Ernest Hemingway</em>", and I know you will too especially if you love his work. I will be back with some cool stuff that you will really enjoy. Have fun folks and good luck.
Description: For the next drawing step you will need to sketch out the actual shape of his face. This should include the shape and lining of his beard and hair. Hemingway has a full beard that is bushy. Add some shag to his beard and hairstyle, then draw in the shape of his ear.
Description: This is probably the most time consuming step because you will have to sketch in his full face of hair. His mustache and beard are very bushy and full. The lining should be thin, and dark. Draw in his mouth as well as his bottom lip. Next sketch out the forehead wrinkles as well as the inner ear detailing.
