Description: Howdy folks! I am here again with more drawing fun. I hope everyone is enjoying the new layout. I will keep it looking the way it does for some time because I think it is clean looking as well as colorful. Anyway, for today's first tutorial I will show you “how to draw duck feet step by step”. Now duck feet can sometimes be very difficult to draw. This is why I chose to do a lesson on these animals feet because I know that it will be helpful for many artists out there that struggle with drawing the feet of any duck. First off ducks are water birds and as you know they used their webbed feet to swim in the water and they do this mainly to search for food. Some of you may be asking “what types of animals are considered water birds?” Well for a quick example, birds that fall into this category are usually but not limited to; ducks, geese, grebes, and penguins. When ducks swim in the water, they push out their feet in a kicking motion so that the webbing catches the water and pushing it behind them again. If you watch a duck walking on a hard surface, you can see that they have a hard time walking smoothly. This is why they waddle when they walk on hard surfaces. Although ducks prefer the water, they walk very well on muddy surfaces because the ground is smooth and mushy enabling their feet to adapt pretty well. The duck feet that I am showing you how to draw today is that of a “white duck” which are the big white ones that are typically found on farms and such. Learning “how to draw duck feet step by step” is a fun way to practice on your duck drawing skills. Once you have learned from this tutorial, you will longer need to draw just the top of a duck, you can draw the bottom half too. I will be back with one more lesson for you all. Until then peace out!
Description: Now in this step you will sketch out the feathery thighs of the white ducks legs and then start drawing out the webbed feet as you see here. Next add the shapes of the narrow toe nails and then move to the last drawing step. See how easy this lesson was.
Description: This is your last drawing step and you will now sketch out the shape of their bodies as you see here. Next sketch or draw in the feet and leg detailing on each duck you see here. Once that is complete you can start erasing your guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.
Description: Once you are done your duck feet should come out looking like the sketch you see here. All you have to do if you like, is color them in. That will conclude this tutorial on how to draw duck feet step by step.
