How to Draw Dark Cloud

Begin with a head guide shape then sketch in the facial guidelines.

Next, draw the left side of Cloud's face, then draw in the long pointed strands for his bangs like so and add some detailing as well.

Add more hair chunks which should still be the same shapes as the other strands of hair. When that is done you can proceed to step three.

Cover the whole top half of Cloud's head by adding more layers of hair. There should be three rows of hair to draw in.

On the right side you can draw the hair, and then sketch out Cloud's ear and earring.

Now that Cloud's head and hair is all set, we can start drawing his jacket starting with the high style collar. Draw the shoulders and add some detailing to the collar.

Lastly, draw in his eyes, nose and mouth using the facial guidelines you made in step one. Be sure to add expression to his eyes and also with the mouth. Erase the mistakes and guides before you end this task.

Here is the finished drawing of Cloud. What makes him dark is the monochromatic colors.

Description: This one goes out to all you Final Fantasy fans out there that loves some of the characters. Today I have for you, "how to draw dark Cloud", step by step. Cloud Strife was one of my favorite characters from Final Fantasy and when I drew him today I was flooded with all the childhood memories that made me all warm and fuzzy inside.
