Description: Chibi characters are becoming more and more popular and there is so many things to learn when drawing Chibi faces, bodies, hair, and etc. Chibi is as you know, is a style that was developed from Japanese creators and designers. In Japan the word Chibi means, small person. Since these small characters are being drawn in a comical way to replicate some more popular anime/manga characters and these characters are also renamed to look like; Chibi Cloud, Chibi Axel, Chibi Goku, and many more of your favorite characters that can be turned into cute Chibi form. This tutorial that I am about to submit is going to teach you “how to draw Chibi expressions” in a very easy and cool way using some simple drawing techniques. Drawing Chibi is very easy to do because their faces are always drawn with big eyes, small noses, and small body parts. Along with their big eyes, they also have big heads. I think you will find this lesson very helpful especially if you are looking to get better at "drawing Chibi style“. After I submit this lesson, I will be back with three more Chibi tutorials that will teach you all the tricks of the trade on “how to draw a Chibi” to the best of your ability. Have fun kiddies and remember to be creative with every lesson you learn from. Peace out!
Description: This is just a picture that I sketched out of what I was going to base this tutorial on. As you can see you will learn "how to draw chibi expressions" step by step. There is six different facial expressions that are commonly seen on a chibi face. So that means you will learn "how to draw a happy chibi, an angry chibi, a confused chibi, a sad chibi, and a surprised chibi face". Let's start learning shall we?
Description: Step three: "How to draw chibi eyes".
You will start drawing the different shapes and styles of chibi eyes. Along with the eye lines you will also draw out the chibi mouths as well. This initially means that you will also be learning "how to draw chibi mouths" too.
Description: You will now start drawing out the shape of the chibi faces which is really just the shape of the face like the cheeks, and jaw line. Once this is done you can finish drawing out the shape of the chibi eyes on each chibi model.
Description: Now to finish off the shape of your chibi heads you will sketch out the shape and style of the chibi hair that you will also be learning how to draw. Every head as the same hair style but you can change that if you like.
Description: This is the last drawing step and as you can see this is where you will finish off each chibi expression. Draw the eyebrows on each chibi face and then add all the facial expression lines that will make every chibi look different in the face. My favorite is the angry chibi face. Erase the guidelines that you drew in step one and move onto the line art.
