Description: Since Valentine’s Day is going to be here in less than twelve days, I thought a cool lesson would be something that some of you artists would like to see. Even though Valentine’s Day is all about showing someone how you feel about them because you love them or have strong feelings, that doesn’t mean everyone has a sweetheart or even a full loving heart. This lesson goes out to all of those people out there that will be experiencing Valentine’s Day all by themselves because like many people who celebrate this lover’s holiday, they have no significant other. This tutorial is going to show you "how to draw broken hearts", step by step. Making a broken heart is always a simple thing to do. The only complex part about drawing broken hearts is finding a new design to create when making them. I thought this sketch came out really good because it not only shows you "how a broken heart" is perceived to be, but it also shows how one can feel like their heart falls to pieces when it gets broken from someone we care deeply about, or even when we lose someone we love. I really enjoyed making this lesson on how to draw broken hearts, and I know you will too. Peace out people, and don’t forget to add some of your creativity to your works of art too!
Description: Using the heart as you guided frame, you will begin drawing out the broken lines that contains a lot of sharp edges, and points. This is going to some out looking like a heart that is been shattered once we are through with it.
Description: Believe it or not, but this is your last drawing step. All you need to do now is draw out some broken pieces like so, and be sure to also draw some small bits of the heart that is shattered instead of broken. You will also need to add some dark shading in the areas colored in red.
