How to Draw an Octarian From Splatoon

Draw the nut shape for the entire body structure. Sketch in the facial guidelines and then the limb guides.

Begin defining the shape of the Octarian's body and head. Notice the flattened bumps along a row on the head? These are the suction cups.

Draw in a curl like shape for the formation of the actual tentacle and define it a bit by giving the limb a layered look.

Use the facial guidelines to draw out the eyes which are made to look buggy and surprised. Add the definition under the eyes, then draw the O shaped mouth like so.

Lastly, let's finish off our Octarian by drawing the base of the body and then the legs and feet. Erase your mistakes along withe the guidelines and you are all done.

Description: Continuing on with more characters from the upcoming Nintendo game 'Splatoon'. We will now tackle the task of learning how to draw an Octarian, step by step. Now, Octarians are tentacle looking characters with no arms or hands, just legs and a very expressive face. They are from a place called Octo Valley, Octarians are usually seen on floating device that has some sort of speaker attached to it. As you can imagine by looking at the character, it will not be complex to recreate. All you have to do is follow the steps and you should be on your way to drawing an Octarian from Splatoon.
