Description: It's time for another skull design that I was working on in my sketch book for those four days that I was left without lights. I literally had a candle lighting my pad as I sketched a few drawings out. I had no idea that the results would be so awesome. The soldier skull has been in the top 50 since I uploaded it a little more then a year ago. I wanted to draw another awesome skull design that can be used as a decal for t-shirts, hats, and even a tattoo. Since my country has decided to send in troops across the globe for reasons unknown, I wanted to sketch out something that symbolized what these men and women end up leaving the military as. You will get an awesome lesson that teaches you "how to draw a war skull", step by step. Once you leave the military, these individuals are coming back as torn, tortured, and confused souls that have completely lost all form of self being to a point where they are not the men or women they where before they signed on to join the military whether it be a marine, or part of the Army. The skull design that I sketched basically shows how messed up one becomes after they have experienced all they have, being in a war with a country or countries that we don't belong in. It's sad too because half of these soldiers don't even know what they are realistically fighting for. As a defender of the United States, you are supposed to live by the constitution that was written by our countries founding fathers, and live by the oath that one swears by which states; “I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic”. Did you read that? “defend the Constitution of the United States”. To me, that means defend freedom and restore it to our former glory that this country was founded on. If we are at war, and we're not fighting these other countries because they are trying to strip us Americans from our freedom, or they are physically on our land taking from American people, then we don't belong fighting a war that has nothing to do with what we defend our constitution for. This war skull represents the colors of my country and how our once good name has gone bad. Anyway, I'm not going to get into that right now because I get to worked up about it. Fort now I will leave you all with this meaningful lesson that will teach you to draw a war skull easily. PEACE out people, and have a happy drawing day!
Description: Draw the helmet that is kind of form fitting, and then draw the shattered or cracked piece where the bullet hit. Detail this area by adding a bit of darking lines, and then draw the top skeletal teeth, and then the lining for the bottom jaw and teeth. Detail the cheeks and then move to the next step.
Description: You will now sketch out the shape of the hollowed out eye to the left, and then draw the downward brow line. Draw the shape of the hollow nose, and then color it in. Sketch out the shape of the jaw, and then the chin which has an indentation. Sketch in the tattered burning cigar that sits to the corner of the mouth and then add some detailing and definition to the cigar and jaw.
Description: For the right side, you will sketch out the bottom end of the AK-47 bullet that is logged in the skull. Add detailing by coloring ion blackness around the bullet, and then add crack lines to indicate that the skull is damaged. Detail around the nose, and mouth, and then draw more definition to the rim of the military helmet. Draw a peace symbol, and then sketch out the torn background that this war skull is ripping through.
Description: Now you will color in the hollow parts of the background to show that he is emerging from the depths of the darkness, and then color in the mouth, and the finger tears that will later be filled with skeletal fingers. Take your time, and you will have an awesome drawing that you did all by yourself.
Description: For your last drawing step all you have to do is draw all the five fingers on each side of the torn canvas. When that is complete you can start erasing all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.
