How to Draw an Emu Bird
1 Body Shape Guidelines
First, sketch the guidelines for the emu. This will help you place the shapes of the body easier.
2 Emu Head Sketch
Then, work on the beak first and then the head shape as well as the neck.
3 Emu Chest and Back
Next, work on the chest first and then work your way on the back.
4 Emu Facial Features
Let's now draw the facial features of the emu!
5 Tail and Legs
Then, we'll start working on the fluffy tail shape as well as underneath the body where the legs go.
6 First Leg
We will then work on the legs one by one. Let's start with the overlapping leg first.
7 Hind Leg Sketch
Next, we'll draw the leg that is being overlapped by the other.
