Description: . The reason why I am giving this tattoo design this name is because it is a combination of a skull and a butterfly. The body is that of a skull and attached to the skull is a pair of butterfly or fairy wings. If you are into fantasy as I am, you could also label this design a “skull fairy“, and maybe that is what I should call it as well. So forget learning “how to draw a butterfly skull“, instead you will learn “how to draw a skull fairy” step by step. Again this design was made for the girls out there that love skulls but would also like to "draw skulls" that are a bit feminine. I’m sure there are other designs out there from other artists that incorporate a skull and wings, but at least I know that this tattoo design solely came from my head and no one else’s. I have to go for right now, but as you know I shall return. I want you to tackle this tutorial on “how to draw a skull fairy step by step. Get creative and include some of your ideas when you do this lesson. Add something from yourself with the colors, or design that you will be learning from. Or if you like you can leave it be. I will be back so have no fear, dragon_queen is here. Peace out peeps!
Description: Okay you will start this tattoo design by drawing out the shape of the skull head first with a circle. Next add the shape of the jaw and or chin. Draw the facial guidelines within the circle shape and then draw the lining for the fairy wings.
Description: You will sketch out the shape of the skull's cheeks and then use the facial guidelines to draw out the skull eye shapes as well as the nose. Next sketch out the hair design on each side of the skull's head as you see here and then move to the next step.
Description: You will now sketch out the shape and design of the skull fairy wings and then add another layer for the chin and or jaw which will incorporate the teeth. Once that is done you can detail the forehead of the skull and then add some definition under the eyes and then ad some cute eyelashes and draw a heart on top of the skull's head as well.
Description: You can now start drawing in the perfect looking skeletal teeth as you see here and then draw more designing shapes on the sides of the fairy skull's jaw. Add some antenna's and then more detailing lines in between the fairy wings.
Description: You are almost done with this tutorial on "how to draw a skull fairy", and so far I think that you guys are doing great. What I want to do with you next is detail the fairy wings and then thicken the antennas. Start to also sketch out some thickness to the wing hairs that are connected to the middle of the skull fairy wings.
Description: This is your last drawing step and all you have to do now is color in the empty eye sockets as well as the nose hole. Next sketch in more detailing to the wings and then finish off the fairy wing hairs. Erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one and then move to the next step to see what your line art looks like.
Description: Here is what your line art should look like when you are done. See how easy that was to draw. I hope you "girls" had fun with this lesson on "how to draw a skull fairy" step by step. Color her in and you are all set. See ya next time ladies!
