The salmon is probably going to be one of the easiest fish to draw out of all the ones I have submitted thus far. Start with a small egg shape for the tip of the head and then draw out the shape for the fishes body. Add the curved guidelines for the

You will now sketch out the shape of the fish's mouth form as you see here and be sure to take your time because you want this animal to come out looking accurate if you are taking the time to draw it out.

Start sketching out the detailing along the side of the fish's gill and then sketch out the rest of the actual body shape which includes two fins.

You will now sketch out the dorsal fin, as well as the anal and tail fins. When this is done you can go ahead and add the detailed lining to show the texture of the fish. Add a definition line on the back end of the body as you see here.

For your last drawing step all you have to do is draw out the small eye and color in a pupil. Next draw the remaining fins, and then add a series of spots along the top part of the salmon's body as you see here. Erase the guidelines and shapes you no

Here is what your finished drawing should look like. You did a great job with this lesson that taught you how to draw a salmon, step by step. Color it in and that's it. Great work guys, be sure to join me again for another fun fill tutorial.

Description: This lesson is going to be the completion of the last fish I was supposed to upload two days ago. I'm just getting around to getting it submitted so lets start this tutorial description for one of the famous fish in the sea, the salmon. Learning "how to draw a salmon" is going to be a lot easier then you could think. This particular fish is known for their delicious taste when cooked, or eaten smoked. There are different types of salmon in existence with the more recognized being the pink salmon or the Alaskan sockeye salmon. The very first specie to be classified was the Atlantic salmon from the Atlantic species of fish. There are several other types of this fish species from the Pacific ocean and they are the Cherry, Chinook, Chum, Coho, Pink, and Sockeye salmon. I myself love eating this fish. They taste so good, and are good eating when they are fried in hot olive oil. They are said to be one of the most oily fishes out of all the fish species in the ocean waters. Even though they can be found in salt water, they start out their lives in fresh water streams, making it a very accessible food source for many black, and brown bear. The salmon is a very healthy fish to eat because of it's high protein, and they are extremely rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, as well as enriched with vitamin D. Remember when I said that salmon can be found in fresh water streams? This is because with every new school, these fish will travel downstream from the fresh water that they are born in. They take this incredible journey to get to the ocean where they will grow, and flourish, which provides food for many people and other ocean animals. If you think about it, these fish make these impressive journeys just to get to the ocean. I guess that's why salmon are called “the incredible traveling fish”. I hope you like this lesson. I will be back later with more drawing fun for you all so stay tuned in. Peace out people, and try and hook yourself a salmon this year because they are good, and healthy eating.
