Description: So here is a lesson that I was supposed to submit yesterday but for some reason or other I got side tracked with something else. So here is this belated lesson on "<strong>how to draw a religious tattoo</strong>", step by step. This skull design was drawn while I was live a couple days ago. I had a lot of fun developing this sketch into what it is today. I was going to make it a full colored image, but I know most folks wouldn't get this design inked on their bodies colored so I left it black and white. As you can see the rose is colored in a faint red shade to bring some color to the image. You can choose to tweak the concept any way you like, or you can choose to leave it as is. One thing is certain, I will be back with more drawing fun. Adios to those of you that love religious art.
Description: Here you will draw out the larger petals of the rose since the rose is being drawn in full bloom. Roses are one of the worlds most beautiful flowers. Add notched detailing to the rose petals, then move to step five.
Description: Draw out the hollow eye, then color it in solid. You will sketch in the skulls indent detailing on the upper jaw. This will add texture and define the skull's design. You will then make the indent to the side part of the skull's head which is also the temple.
Description: Now you can draw in your cross. I chose to go with a Gothic style cross, but you can choose to draw a simple cross if you like. Once the cross is done you can sketch out the crone of thrones then draw in the leaves for the roses and you are done.
