How to Draw a Raptor Easy

1

Make the guide shape for the head, then draw in the neck and torso guides.

2

Up next, use the face guide to draw out the raptor's upper mandible, then add the prominent brow bone.

3

All you will do here is draw in the upper row of sharp, slender looking teeth. The teeth in the front of the mouth are smaller and get larger the further you go in.

4

Next, draw the bottom mandible or jaw, then sketch out the shape of the jaw structure and some of the neck in the front.

5

Up next, add some detailing to the snout and then draw the nostril. When that is done you can draw the raptor's eye and when you do this be sure to make the puffy tissue around the eye.

6

Add some scales or texture detailing on the cheek or jaw.

7

You are already almost done. Draw the rest of the raptor's head, then draw the long neck and shoulder. Add detailing to the neck then you can erase the guides to prepare the dinosaur for detailing.

8

Finally, draw the two toned effect or markings along the length of the neck. You are done, now you can show off.

9

The line art looks like the drawing you see here. Now all you have to do is color in the raptor you just made.

Description: I think it's time for a tutorial on a dinosaur that I know folks will appreciate and love. Here is my take on "how to draw a raptor easy", step by step. Raptors were my favorite dinosaurs in all of the Jurassic Park films and now that my sister is into dinosaurs I thought that she would really like this tut. I asked her yesterday what her favorite movie was of all time and she said "Jurassic Park". I was like wow, that was my favorite film when I was eleven too! Anyways, have fun and enjoy.
