How to Draw a Praying Angel

Make the head, torso and buttocks guides like so.

The first thing we will start drawing is the upper arm. As you can see this male angel has a very strong, muscular arm that is toned to perfection like all of God's angels.

Starting on the back, sketch out the large, arched wing that is beautiful in stature. Once that is complete you can move to step four.

There is no face for this angel since he is praying with his head down as he sobs for God's forgiveness. Sketch out the shape of his head along with the hair that is sort of long. The hair should end up resting on the back below the neck and on his s

You can now sketch the body starting with the back, butt and some of the legs, then draw in the stomach, thighs and the rest of the legs. He is in a kneeling position or pose.

You will separate the legs in this step by drawing two thighs and the lower leg. Sketch in the muscle definition throughout the body like so, then you can either draw in the butt crack, or leave it blank.

For the final step all you have to do is draw the other wing which is as big if not bigger then the first one you drew. Once that is done you can erase your mistakes as well as the guides.

This is how your praying angel looks when you are done. Now you can color him in and show off your work to those that are both proud of you, and doubt you.

Description: Everyone has been liking the angel lessons that I have been uploading so why not make another. Here is my take on "how to draw a praying angel", step by step. Some may ask why is this angel praying? Well, after falling from heaven for doing something that wasn't approved by God, when this white angel landed on Earth he automatically wanted to come back to heaven. The pain, suffering and all the anguish that is filled in every corner of the world is just too horrible for this angel to bare. He drops down on his knees and prays that God will forgive him for the wrong that hes' done because he doesn't want to be in a place where there is so much hatred, betrayal, suffering, pain, death, and sorrow. I do hope you like this concept of drawing a praying angel, I worked my butt off making it. Thanks folks.
