Description: Okay, like my videos always say, start the lesson by drawing out the basic guidelines and shapes to form a workable frame for your monkey. Begin by drawing a circle for the head, and then make another shape for the monkey's body like so. When that is done draw the three straight lines for the arm, and legs.
Description: Use the shape you drew in step one to sketch out the actual shape of the monkey's head. Since you are drawing this animal from the side, the face profile will be less complicated to replicate. Included in the head lining you will need to draw the piece of hair, and small cliff like shape for the snout.
Description: Here you will start drawing out the facial features to start making this drawing look like a monkey. Start with an eye in the shape of an egg, and then color it in. Draw out the perfectly shaped ear, and then add the marking lining for the face, nose, and mouth.
Description: Begin drawing out the body starting with the back arch, butt bump, and some of the hind leg. Next, draw out the front arm and be sure to draw in a curl for the hand, and then draw out the chest or belly like so.
Description: Start erasing the lines and shapes that you drew in step one so you can prepare your monkey for last minute detailing. Draw the lining for the arms and ankles like so, and then draw in the monkey's tail.
