To kick things off today how about we start with learning "<strong>how to draw a lizard for kids</strong>", step by step. The lizard is one of those reptiles that people can live with, or without. Many of my friends in the past have owned a lizard or two, but unfortunately I never have. Instead I had animals like birds and cats for pets, but lately dogs and chickens are on the list. Anyways, this should be a super fun, super easy tutorial to follow and if you have problems with drawing a lizard for kids, you must not be taking your time. This lesson should be effortless, which means you should be done in a breeze from start to finish. I will meet you all back here in a jiff so stay tuned in while the day is still young.
Description: Begin drawing out the actual head structure for the lizard and then draw out the nose and mouth. Notice how there is lumps or contours to the lizards head. Don't forget to add that friendly smile.
Description: This step is pretty simple because all you have to do is draw out the almond shaped eye, and then draw in a slit pupil which is just a simple vertical dash. Add the nostril hole too before leaving step three.
Description: Lizards have bodies much like the dinosaur. Here you will draw in the neck first, and then the outward lined chest. Next, draw in the short stubby arms as well as the three toed front feet.
Description: You are almost done drawing this lizard for kids, which means you will start by drawing out the lining that will form the back, and some of the lizard's tail. Draw in the belly as well as the back leg and foot. Notice how the lizard is in a sitting position, this is how most lizards spend their days.
Description: Now it's really time to finish off this drawing. All you have to do is simply draw in the lizard's tail. Once you're done, just erase the guidelines you drew in step one to clean up the drawing and prepare it for color.
Description: Ta da! Here is your finished drawing of the lizard for kids you just completed. Now you can draw a wonderful background that a lizard would really love to be in. I hope you had fun guys, be sure to keep those pencils moving because creating art is always a good thing.
