Description: Well, I think I will fill another request that was made a few days ago. As some of you may know I love drawing animals because I have my very own technique to draw them looking amazingly adorable, as well as original. Today, I will teach you an easy way to learn "how to draw a lion cub" using step by step instructions. I found that drawing animals in the most simplest form, is a great way for others to replicate them easily. I know how hard it can be to sketch out a decent looking animal, and that is why I wanted to make sure that both beginning, and intermediate artists benefit from my lessons. This lion cub has a big head, big friendly eyes, and a smile to die for. I obviously know that real lion cubs are not so friendly especially if they have never been handled by a human before. Sometimes there are rescue facilities that help save animals that are found with no siblings, or mother to care for them at a young age. There is a movie that I feel in love with called “Duma”. It takes place in South Africa when a father and son find a very young cheetah cub that is an orphan. The father's name is Peter, and the boy is called Xan. They are both from Australia, but live in South Africa. The cheetah grows up with the boy and his parents, but eventually he has to do what's right for Duma, which is the cheetah. It is such a heart felt movie and I recommend that anybody watch it if you haven't already. Well that does it for me once again. And like once again, I will return with some more colorful, fun drawing tutorials for you all. Drawing a lion cub is going to put a smile on your face, and a hop in your step. Peace out peeps and happy drawing!
Description: Like I said in the description, this is going to be a rather fun, and easy lesson to learn from. Start with an egg shape that is as big as you want to make your lion cub. Next draw the facial guidelines and then a small rounded triangular shape for the body.
Description: Add the zig zag shaped eyebrows, and notice how the lining is much bolder. You will fluff up some detailing inside of the ears, and then draw a frame around the lion cubs mouth which is also the muzzle. Lastly for this step, draw the inside marking line for the cub's chest.
Description: And for your last drawing step. Draw the rest of the legs and paws, and then draw the hind feet, and long tail. Erase any visible guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one to clean up your drawing!
Description: You're done. See how adorable she/he came out looking. Add some baby spots and colors and you have yourself a finished drawing of a lion cub. Excellent work everyone, join me for another fun, colorful tutorial.
