How to Draw a Humanoid Gargoyle

Make the shapes for the head, torso and then draw the pelvic area. We will then draw in the guidelines for the limbs, wings and tail.

We will draw in the face shape for your humanoid gargoyle and then draw in the ear and hair which is almost like an aloof goth style due.

Up next, draw in the eye and then draw the long neck followed by the shoulders, arm, hand and then draw the chest.

We will now draw the legs and feet. The feet are creature like so be sure to draw them in this manner.

Just draw the tail and then draw spear tip.

We will now draw the gargoyle's large wing and add the rib lines for the wings.

Up next and lastly, draw in other wing but only the tip of the wing. When that is done you can erase the mistakes and guides.

Here is the line art when you are all done. Now you can color in the drawing and show friends what you just made.

Description: How many people remember that cartoon series called 'Gargoyles' that aired from 1994-1996? Well, I remember it and it was one of my favorite cartoons as a kid. Since I was getting into drawing gargoyles, I thought it would be fun to make a lesson on how to draw a humanoid gargoyle, step by step. Now granted this is not a massive looking figure that we all remember Goliath to be, I was really wanting to keep things simple so everyone can tackle the exciting task of drawing a humanoid gargoyle. So that's it. Have fun and show off the work when done.
