1

Make a circle for the gorilla's head and then draw in a small egg shape for the body. Add the facial guides and then move to step two.

2

Here you will begin sketching out the actual shape of the gorilla's head and face. As you can see this is a very elongated shaped face. Incorporate the ear, and then be sure to add some hair pieces on top of the head.

3

As you know Gorilla's have these intense eyebrow bones which kind of hoover over the eyes. You will draw out the brow, and then draw in the arches for the top of the nose and then make the lining for the face or mouth.

4

Using the face guides, draw in the large shaped eyes and then leave an empty space as part of the eye design or style. Make the eyeballs, and then proceed to step five.

5

Begin drawing out the front arms which are also used for walking, and then draw in the chest. The hands are in clutched fists due to the fact that are being used for walking.

6

For the last step, draw out the back and rest of the upper body, and then draw in the butt, back legs, and feet. Add the toes and then start erasing the guides and shapes.

7

Here is what this adorable gorilla looks like when you are done. Now you can have even more fun coloring the drawing. I hope you had fun drawing a gorilla for kids.

Description: I’m going to start things easy today and then finish off with something really awesome. I have a couple "For Kids" lessons that I will be uploading and the first is going to be "how to draw a gorilla for kids", step by step. Gorillas are great animals both in size, and in creation. Their big hearty bodies and strong personalities make them one of the more unique animal species on the planet. There are so many different types of specimens in the world, and a lot of animals are incredibly strong and agile. The ape and or gorilla are one of the strongest primates in existence, and they are also animals that like living in solitude with their families. This lesson is great because not only will you learn how to draw a gorilla, you will also learn how to make one in the simplest form. Crating tutorials for kids is something I enjoy doing because I know a lot of you members and visitors are novice artists which means some of you need to start off simple and then work your way up the drawing ladder. I will be back in a jiff, so stay tuned in to see what else I have in store for all ya’ll. Peace people and have fun!
