Description: This tutorial has been sitting in my profile page for like three days so far. The reason why I didn’t upload it is because I wanted to get the more exciting lessons submitted first. Anyway, this tutorial is basically going to show you "how to draw a flag", step by step. This is not any particular flag, it’s just something I whipped up. Someone had asked me if I can make a tutorial on a flag so, here it is. When drawing things like ribbons, bows, flags or anything made of loose material, the tricky part to getting something drawn, is making the waves look like ribbons. There is so many different ways to conquer such a feat, but the best way is the way I will show you in this tutorial. Flags are not used just to display our countries colors, stripes, and designs. They are also used to decorate homes, offices, buildings, and even events. One of the more common places you can see a variety of flags, is at a parade, special celebration, events, and even during funerals. I have a friend that displays the NASCAR flag on is front lawn that he has pulled up on a fifteen foot pole. No matter what type of flag you choose to display or parade around, you will have fun learning "how to draw a flag" to your liking. I made some random marks on my purple flag, but you can add whatever you like. Have fun with this tutorial guys, and remember to rate, and comment on all sorts of submissions you visit on Dragoart.com, even rate and comment on the artwork you visit too. Later gators!
Description: Lastly, draw the two vertical lines which will make your flag look wavy. Add any design you like, and then draw out the pole like you see here. Erase the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one to clean up your drawing.
