Description: Well guys it’s Sunday which means I have another installment of tutorials for you all that I think you will enjoy. By the time you even view these lessons it’s probably going to be Monday. To start things off I want to fill a request made by two people, my sister and a member from Dragoart. Everyone knows that I’m a big fan of the computer video game “World of Warcraft”; well it’s no secret that I love making drawings of my favorite WoW characters and even sometimes turning them into lessons like this submission on "how to draw a Draenei", step by step. These characters are on the alliance side and they are like these half horse beings with human like bodies. Their feet are replaced with hooves they are blue in color. One of the neat things about being a Draenei is that you can be a shaman. Shamans are like druids, the only difference is shamans turn into wolves instead of a tiger. Now, if you want to be a Draenei you have to have the ‘Burning Crusade’ edition. As far as class goes, there are a few choices like warriors, paladins, hunters, mages, priests, and death knights. What my sister likes most about the Draenei is the types of habitat that they live in. Their dwellings are almost like the aliens from AVATAR. There is all sorts of cool things about their climate that is very bright and interesting. Well, I guess that’s all I can actually say for now, but I’m sure you will have a blast with learning "how to draw a Draenei". They are pretty much an all-around awesome character that I’m fond of, especially my sister. Meet me back in a few guys because the drawing fun never ends.
Description: The very first step is going to be pretty easy. All you have to do is draw out some basic guides and lines that will form an upper body mannequin for your WOW character. Start with a circle for the head, and then draw out a torso, hip shape and then add the lines for the arms.
Description: Begin sketching in her face starting with the eyebrows, and then draw out her catty looking eyes. The top lining of her eyes should be thick and wispy. Add some detailing to her eyes, and then sketch in her nose, and lips which are heart shaped. Add some root detailing in the center of her parted hair.
Description: Continue to draw out her hair, but you will first need to draw in the horns on each side of her head. The horns are slopped back almost perfectly with her hair. Draw in more of the head, and then add some hair detailing. Sketch out the back of her hair or head, and then sketch in her ears. Continue to add hair until complete.
Description: You will now begin the process of getting the body and armor drawn out. Start by drawing out the shell like shoulder plates, and then add two spikes on each one. When that is done you can draw in the arms, and then the torso. Add some curvy lining to form the chest or breasts, and then move along to step six.
Description: Lets start sketching out her hands like so, and be sure to draw them in an active pose. When that is done draw in the trim lining around the edges of the shoulder plates and then draw the plate lining for her chest, abdomen, and sketch in the navel hole. For her bracelet on the right wrist add the design lines for detail.
Description: Here all you have to do is sketch out her hips, and then draw in the long skirt that flares out at the bottom. Once that is done draw in the belt and then the medallion or buckle in the middle.
Description: Before drawing more of her body out, you will need to add some more detailing on this female Draenei's skirt. Draw the pretty ribbons that attach to the medallion, and then draw in the trim at the bottom of the skirt.
Description: You are now almost done with this tutorial. The next thing you will do to finish her off is sketch out the horse like legs, and then draw out the hooves. When sketching out the legs be sure to make the lining appear hairy by adding a few rouge pieces of hair. When drawing out the hooves, add a clef toe.
