How to Draw a Chimeric Monkey, Chimeric Monkeys

1

Begin by making a circle for the monkey's head like so, and then draw an oblong shape for the body. You will also need to sketch in the facial guides.

2

Using the shape you just drew in step one, begin sketching out the whole front part to the monkey's face. This should include the cheeks, snout, and mouth.

3

You will now sketch out the shape of the head, then slowly incorporate the ears, and then the jaw as well as the chin. The top of the head has a few hairs puffing out so make sure you add that detail as well. Sketch in the definition inside of the ea

Continue to sketch out the specifics of the Chimeric monkey's face. You need to first sketch in the hairline like so, and then add some strands in the middle of the head. Once that is done draw the eye shapes and color them in solid, and then draw in

Let's tackle the task of drawing the long arm which should also be very scrawny. Draw in the hands and as you can see the fingers are curled in, and even though they are you can tell that the fingers are long. Draw in some of the chest and other arm,

You are almost done with this tutorial. All you have to do now is draw out the long, skinny or scrawny looking legs and feet. The feet almost look like hands or fingers. The lining should be raised for the hair effect, and you should also draw in the

Finish your Chimeric monkey by drawing the back, rest of the but and then the skinny curled tail. Clean up the drawing to prepare for color.

Okay guys, here is your official drawing of the Chimeric monkey. Color in your work and tell someone that hasn't heard of this monkey before what you just learned.

Description: I was reading some articles today and came across a strange find. It seems as though researchers from the Oregon Health and Science University have been working on a scientific miracle. A new breed of monkey was created, and born using the cells of six different types of other monkeys. They are called the ‘Chimeric Monkeys’ and they are quite a site to see. I personally don’t think that these monkeys are cute. To me they look like skin based creatures with long limbs, scrawny bodies, and wrinkled up faces. I know a lot of people out there will find these new monkeys amazingly cute, but for me, it was sort of hard to draw one because they kind of gross me out. Anyways this tutorial will show you "how to draw a chimeric monkey", step by step. In total there were three chimeric’s born and their names are Roku, Hex, and Chimero. Roku and Hex are twin boys, but Chimero is not. From what I understand, the monkeys where created by gluing together cells of six embryos from different types of animal species. As of right now there is limited information of these scientific monkeys. All I can really do for you guys right now is show you the ropes to drawing chimeric monkeys, and then if you want to find out more cool facts on them, wait a while longer until more studying, and information becomes available. I hope you like this lesson even if I fine these primates to be a little hideous. I shall return and I promise there will be some cool stuff going up tonight. Have fun and peace out.
