How to Draw a Bulldozer

1

Let's start by drawing the guidelines for the cab or shell for your bulldozer.

2

Here we will draw the dump bucket for the bulldozer. Dump buckets are not only used to gather dirt and gravel, they are also used to tear down foliage, hills, and move heavy debris. Once the outline for your bucket is drawn, proceed to step three.

3

Up next, you will now make the sides to the bucket to close off the sides. When that is done draw the bottom of the bucket which curls up a bit and has four large square shaped teeth. These teeth are used to rip up the earth and grapple onto tough ta

4

You will draw the pistons connected to the bucket on the sides, then draw in the large doughnut shaped tire.

5

On the other side you will draw the bottom of the opposite tire, then add the deep threads along the tire surface. Next, draw in the tire shields or guards like so, then draw in the bottom of the bulldozer cab which is a small ladder for operators to

6

Here you will draw in the rear end of the bulldozer. This should include the tire shield, tires, and then the threads on the tires. Also add some rough detailing along the tore walls.

7

We will now start drawing the cab of the bulldozer like so. This part of the lesson should take about ten minutes to tackle. It's not as easy as the previous steps, but it's totally doable.

8

Define the box shape of the cab like so. The lines should be pretty straight.

9

Lastly, add the frame around the top of the cab, then add the side mirrors, door, and the glass. You can then begin erasing all the mistakes and guides.

10

Here is the line art when you are all done. Now you can color in your bulldozer using the typical yellow shade.

Description: I think I will start the drawing day by uploading something simple, fun and never seen before on Dragoart. Here is "how to draw a bulldozer", step by step. I honestly don't know why it took so long to make a lesson on a tractor. I mean, bulldozers are such a popular piece of machinery that is used in daily life with farmers, construction workers, and they even have light duty bulldozers for homeowners to purchase and use on their properties. Drawing a bulldozer is going to be super fun, especially if you are one that loves big machinery like the one you see here. I will be back with some fun tuts so stay tuned in people.
