Description: In this tutorial I will be showing you how to draw one of the cutest dogs on the planet, the English bulldog. When learning "how to draw a bulldog, keep in mind that this breed has a lot of detail and definition. First let’s talk a little bit about this breed. The bulldog is a small dog, but definitely wide and compact with a thick massive head almost like a volts wagon beetle. This dog looks almost like a pug but cuter. What’s great about the bulldog is his size and how they love to be lap dogs. They just loft around all day with their fat chubby wrinkles. The only draw back about owning a bulldog is the respiratory problems that affect their way of life which of course ends up costing the owner a significant amount of cash. I have an English bulldog and I have to tell you, even though I love him to death he does cost me money at least twice a year. Since I love drawing, one day I was sketching my dog and thought "I should make a tutorial on him" and show everyone how cute my baby is. I knew that I could make it easy for anyone to learn "how to draw a bulldog" especially online. This portrait of Dooky took me I wanna say at least a week. I would pick up and sketch it out every other day until it was done. The hardest part for me was drawing all his wrinkles and than later drawing them again in Photoshop. But I think I did a good job and I’m happy to share my art to you all online and hope I can teach someone how to draw as well.
Description: Now in this step as you can already see the bulldog is coming through. What we do here is start shaping his nose and giving him some eye balls. If you look on top of the head you can see that I've already started to put shape to his skull and ears.
Description: This step basically consist of giving the bulldog all those gorgeous wrinkles. Just follow the direction that the lines are going in. If you notice it sort of has a two dimensional shape, and that is what were going for.
Description: Almost done this is the last step before we come to the finished product. What you do here is draw his upper back and his sagging neck. Now is a good time to perfect your sketch and erase the unwanted lines.
