How to Draw a Ballerina Music Box

1

Make three different sized shapes for the body frame guide. When that is done you can add the arm and leg guides followed by the facial guidelines.

2

Define the lining for the head and then draw in the eyes, mouth and nose. Make her face simple, but beautiful. Draw in the hair line and some of her long straight hair.

3

Draw the arms and hands and then you can move to step four.

4

You can now draw the torso shape of the ballerina's body and then draw the short stiff skirt known as a tutu. Add the pleats in the tutu and then more of the hair or at least the ends of it.

5

We will now draw in the ballerina's legs which are in a dancing pose. Draw the ballerina shoes and the ribbon on her ankle.

6

We will now work on the base that the ballerina is dancing on. Draw the round disc shaped base, then draw the backdrop behind the ballerina.

7

Lastly, draw the last two lower tiers of the pedestal that the ballerina is dancing upon. Add the design pattern on the sides and start erasing the mistakes and guides.

8

Here is the line art. Just color in the drawing and you are all done and ready to show it off.

Description: Okay, let me see if I can get these lessons uploaded real quick before I get behind on my work. We will be learning how to draw a ballerina, step by step. This ballerina is not just a pretty face, she actually is the topping or main attraction to the stand she is dancing upon. I know those of you girls out there that have one of these boxes sitting on your dresser know that it's a music box ballerina. To me ballerinas are the most graceful dancers. I think you will have fun with this tut. Don't forget to let me know if you liked it.
