Description: Hello everyone and happy Friday. Today I will start the day with a lesson that is so awesome, I can't even believe I made this tut. Well, I know I did, but I haven't made a piece of art like the one you see here in such a long time. Today I will show you how to draw a skull for Halloween, step by step. This Halloween skull drawing is unique and I know you will not see another like it anywhere on the web or anywhere else. If you do, than that means where you found it, was stolen from me. The concept came from my love of Halloween and skulls. I wanted to dress up this skull with a face scarf, but I didn't want the scarf to be so typical. So, I colored it black and drew candy corns on it. Also, I decided to color the skull orange and add a funky pattern to the forehead with the coloring process. In the end the results came out to be one of my best skull drawings to date. I do hope you enjoy this Halloween Skull. I will return with some other cool, ghoulish lessons in a bit so stick around.
Description: Up next, we will sketch out the hollows for the eye sockets. When doing this we want to draw an angry or expressive face so be sure to draw the slight dip on the top part of the eye shape. Sketch in the definition to the brows to create the brow bone shape. There is also some detailing and definition around the eye and extends to the center of both eyes like you see here. Don't forget to create detailing to the top part of the skull too.
Description: Up next, we will draw out the handkerchief which is the scarf that covers the nose hollow and mouth area. When drawing the scarf, try and form the shape of the cheeks as well to add definition to the skull's face. Add the wrinkles, creases and fold details to the scarf as well. When you are happy with the results you can proceed to the next step.
Description: Here you will draw in your design pattern on the scarf. I chose to make candy corns, but you can choose whatever pattern you like for your halloween skull. Also, add some darkening to the left part of the scarf.
